Not only people like Stray - cats watch the gameplay of the game

Twitter has an account called Cats Watching Stray. The essence of the page is that there gamers show how their pets react to how the owners play Stray on game consoles or computers. Most of them express a direct interest in the title and even try to interact with the main character Stray.

Stray is an unusual game released on July 19 on PC and PlayStation 4 with PlayStation 5 from BlueTwelve Studio. The publisher was Annapurna Interactive, which has published such titles as Flower, Journey, What Remains of Edith Finch and other leisurely and meditative games. Stray puts the player in control of a stray cat who finds himself in a world inhabited by robots. The cat will need to solve puzzles and climb into places that are not the most accessible in order to get back home to his fellows.

The main review aggregator Metacritic has collected mostly good reviews from journalists. The PC and PlayStation 5 versions of the title received 84 out of 100 points each. User ratings are not yet available, as Metacritic is asked to first play this game for a while, and then give a sober assessment of the title.

Among the pluses of the critics, they noted the cyberpunk city, the authentic look of the cat for which gamers will play, artificial intelligence and the synthesizer soundtrack. Puzzles, according to experts, are simple, but at the same time interesting and exciting. Of the minuses, they called the monotony of actions and the stealth mechanics of the game. Critics also noted the addictive nature of the exploratory gameplay and said it outweighed the negatives of the game.
