Dark became the champion of DH SC2 Masters 2022 Valencia in StarCraft II

DH SC2 Masters 2022 Valencia has ended. As part of the championship, which was held from July 1 to 3 in Spain at the Fira València venue, 56 representatives from all over the world fought for a prize pool of $100,000, as well as points in the ESL Pro Tour 2022/23 table. The winner of the competition was the South Korean player Dark, who outplayed his compatriot Maru in the grand final with a score of 4:3.

The tournament for the future winner began with confident victories over MaNa (2:0) and SpeCial (2:0) in the group stage. Taking first place in the group, the 26-year-old South Korean player directly made it to the 1/8 finals, where he managed to overcome Astrea (3:1). Then Dark managed to outplay Elazer (3:0) and herO (3:2), thanks to which he made it to the grand final.

In the decisive match, the representative of Dragon Phoenix Gaming defeated his compatriot Maru (4:3) in a tense fight, thanks to which he earned $15,000 and 1,500 points in the ESL Pro Tour 2022/23 table.

• 5th-8th place: Clem (Team Liquid), Elazer (Team Liquid), Neeb (Onsyde Gaming) and Reynor (KaiZi Gaming) — $3,600 + 375 points.
• 9th-16th place: SpeCial (PSISTORM Gaming), Lambo (Shopify Rebellion), RagnaroK (Alpha X), Astrea (Alpha X), Scarlett (Shopify Rebellion), DRG (Team NV), HeRoMaRinE (MOUZ) and Bunny (Team NV)) - $2,000 + 225 points.
