Riot Games expands partnership with Statespace
Publisher and esports company Riot Games has announced an expansion of its existing partnership with Statespace, developer of the Aim Lab training tool. As a result, Riot Games will become a minority shareholder of Statespace. In addition, Aim Lab will also become the official training platform for VALORANT.
The Aim Lab platform, for which Statespace is best known, is free educational software that allows players to practice realistic game scenarios, including learning to aim, strafe, and hit moving targets.

Wayne McKee, Statespace CEO: "Riot Games has been the best partner, employee and facilitator we could ask for. We're thrilled to continue to improve the gaming experience with coaches, coaches and scouts in VALORANT and soon in League of Legends".
Note that Statespace has previously partnered with Riot Games on activations related to VALORANT Champions Tour: North America, as well as promoting Arcane, a series set in the League of Legends universe.
The parties did not share any details regarding the potential expansion of the partnership in League of Legends. Additionally, Riot Games hasn't disclosed just how big of a stake it now has in Statespace.

The partnership will allow Aim Lab to become the official learning platform for VALORANT. In addition, the platform will use Riot Games intellectual property to integrate in-game physics, maps, and weapons into educational software.
