BLAST Premier expands partnership with GRID Esports

The BLAST Premier series of esports tournaments renews its partnership agreement with the GRID Esports platform. As part of the deal, GRID Esports will support all BLAST Premier series championships in 2022.

In addition, the platform will continue to provide the organizer with an array of data for each event, as well as monitor the integrity and security of data transmission during BLAST Premier tournaments.

Recall that the parties cooperated for the first time at BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018, after which they extended the partnership for the next seasons. In addition, GRID Esports has been a data transfer partner for PGL Major 2021, Epic Sports Events and WePlay.

GRID and BLAST noted that the fragmentation of the esports market has at times prevented esports data from reaching its full potential. As a result, official partnerships are a way to provide tournament organizers and audiences with better data.
