Along with his role as co-owner, Ball will partner with the organization's talent pool and launch a new project in the metaverse, details of which will be revealed at a later date.
Connor Ball, co-owner of LDN UTD: "As someone who has dealt with mental health issues myself, I have suffered from general anxiety, panic attacks and depression and I know the struggles my generation is facing. Esports has a huge opportunity to engage the younger generation and address social issues that affect us today and in the future. I've known the LDN UTD team for a while now, I love what they do, and there's rarely an opportunity to combine my passion for gaming with good deeds."
Note that Connor Ball is not the only star to invest in LDN UTD. In November 2020, the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, a former Manchester United footballer, partnered with a London-based esports organization in an attempt to address youth unemployment.
