OG, Team Secret to join FACEIT DOTA 2 Invitational

FACEIT start fall season with 3-day tournament with $25,000 prize pool. FACEIT DOTA 2 Invitational is scheduled for October 17-19.

8 teams will join the event: OG, Team Liquid, Vega Squadron, The Alliance, Team Empire, Escape Gaming and Ad Finem. Team Secret will also join an event despite the fact that Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao and Rasmus "MiSeRy" Filipsen accused team management in bad attitude to players and non-payment of prize money.

Michele Attisani, FACEIT's Chief Business Officer, official commentaries:

“This is one of the last chances teams will get to really practice and gain notoriety before the invites are sent out for the coming Boston Major so we expect some nail biting matches."

This will be a single elimination tour with best of one matches. FACEIT did not announce the groups but we already know that quarterfinals are scheduled on October 17, semifinals on October 18, and grand final on October 19.
