Cloud9 said farewell to Dota 2 roster

The rumors of Dota 2 roster for Cloud9 first appeared on August 23, and today they have been approved – the general director of Cloud9, Jack Etienne told that the cooperation of the esports club with PieLieDie and the company is over. The reasons why the roster left are unknown, but after the failure on The International 2017, some players told to be set for Fnatic.

Cloud9 signed Dota 2 roster in May this year, and they chose Team NP who managed to overcome the qualifiers to The International 2017. After joining ‘clouds’ the team played only on the finals of World Championships for Dota 2 where they took 13-16 place and won about $123,000.

It should be mentioned, that Jack promised to give a try to creating another Dota 2 roster, however, there is no information when a new roster will be announced.
