Alliance Disbands Dota 2 Roster
The Swedish esports organization Alliance has announced the parting with its Dota 2 roster. The club has reportedly decided to focus its efforts on long-term plans, namely building a roster for the next DPC 2022/2023 season.
We made the difficult decision to release a full line-up, especially since we have a history of development and overcoming difficulties. To say it hasn't been an easy season would be an understatement, but there have been plenty of good ones as well. Every mistake is a chance to learn, and we have made many mistakes.
I want to thank the players, coaches and support staff for working incredibly hard to turn things around until the very end, and while I don't think bad results excuse any of us, that's the nature of the competition, it's relentless.

Next season, we will double down on our commitment to Dota 2 and put together a roster we can all be proud of.
The Alliance team has experienced a lot of problems during the current season, having undergone several changes. Nevertheless, the results of the European team speak for themselves, as they were twice relegated to the second division of the DPC WEU, from where they will start their journey in the next competitive season.
In addition, the team failed at ESL One Malaysia 2022, as well as qualifications for The International 2022. As a result, the club's management considered these results unsatisfactory, making the final decision to disband the roster.
The latest Dota 2 Alliance roster:
