South Korean bank Woori will launch a metaverse service

Representatives of the South Korean bank Woori announced that they will launch a service for a 3D metaverse for small businesses. He is going to join the list of banks that use the virtual space for good and development.

Previously, commercial banks such as HSBC, Fidelity, Commercial Bank International and Nedbank announced the launch of a service for the metaverse. They see the point in having their representation in the field of virtual worlds.

Research firm McKinsey & Co previously reported that due to such innovations and the continued development of the metaverse sector in general, this unusual area of digital technologies could reach an estimated value of $5,000,000,000,000 by 2030.

Woori Bank tried to make the metaverse service available not only to PC owners, but it could also be used from ordinary smartphones. The bank also decided on the work schedule of the unit in the metaverse. Virtual world managers will work from 9:00 to 16:00 and give Woori Bank customers all the necessary advice regarding loans and other issues.

Woori Bank is a fairly well-known financial company, one of the largest banks in South Korea. Representatives of Woori Bank are going to offer 3D training lessons in the metaverse to all interested employees. In this way, they want to strengthen their desire to move towards the digital capabilities of the bank and will contribute to the cyber-education of their employees.

When exactly the Woori Bank metaverse service will be organized is currently unknown, however, representatives of the organization said that a full-fledged launch is scheduled for the first half of 2023. The management also noted that they want to introduce various services so that customers can test them. It is noteworthy that Woori Bank is also going to be adapted for virtual reality devices.
