The last show showed that the metaverses are a great place to hold musical events. The creators of the site will allow fans to take part in various quizzes and be rewarded with various bonuses that can be spent in the Kwangya store.
The organizers will also broadcast on the official channel on their Instagram. In addition to bonuses that can be received for participation in the life of the community and spent in the store, there will also be big prizes like Nintendo Switch and AirPods Max.
The collaboration between The Sandbox and SM Group looks very beneficial for both sides of the agreement, given that the creators of the metaverse have always wanted to turn their project into a full-fledged entertainment platform.
Cindy Lee, CEO of The Sandbox Korea, said the company now wants to focus on building global partnerships.
The Sandbox launched the Korea Universe project, which can connect the audience from South Korea. Their collaboration with Kwangya looks like a very natural next step towards winning over Korean hearts. Thus, we can observe the development of a separate culture, which can be called the K-verse.
The developers of The Sandbox have worked hard to improve their metaverse. In the past 2022, they were able to launch Game Maker and recently updated this service to version 0.8, which has various options for interaction between users, and the visual component has been improved.
Kwangya is an association of K-pop artists, which includes such famous performers as Exo, Aespa, Red Velvet and others. The club is managed by SM Entertainment and has its own mobile application that brings together music fans not only from Korea, but from all over the world.
Cryptocurrency experts and analysts have repeatedly argued that Asia will become a key figure in shaping the world of metaverses and at the moment more than 60% of Asians account for virtual worlds. Everything seems to be looking and progressing exactly as the experts expected.
