In America, a resource was created for customers who lost money due to FTX

The U.S. Attorney's Office from the Southern District of New York had a hand in creating a resource for users who were affected by the FTX bankruptcy. This was done so that the victims of the American cryptocurrency exchange could apply and help the investigation into the FTX crash.

Once the application has been processed, people will be contacted by the Victims and Witnesses Coordinator. According to preliminary estimates, there are already more than 1,000,000 people. It was this large number of people that prompted the desire of the US Attorney's Office to create a page for victims who could submit relevant requests and assist the Attorney's office in the FTX case.

The process of considering the bankruptcy of the American cryptocurrency exchange is taking place separately from the processes taking place in relation to Sam Bankman-Fried and other FTX executives. The next bankruptcy hearing is due on January 11.

The authorities of the Bahamas managed to catch Sam Bankman-Fried. After serving time in what many consider to be one of the worst places to be in jail, the lawyer negotiated a $250,000,000 bail for the SBF. Now Bankman-Fried is under house arrest and refuses to admit his guilt.

Notably, FTX co-founder Gary Wang pleaded guilty, as did Caroline Ellison, CEO of Alameda Research. Sam is accused of using FTX client money to pay off Alameda Research loans.

Sam Bankman-Fried, who has a lot of money, was able to afford such a lawyer, who probably convinced the SBF that he could be acquitted at trial and for this reason the ex-head of FTX does not fully admit guilt. If, in the end, Bankman-Freed is not acquitted and receives a punishment, then he will spend several decades behind bars. The world has never seen such situations in the field of cryptocurrencies.
