Former FTX CEO Could Withdraw $684,000

Sam Bankman-Fried was recently able to get out of jail on bail. Once he was outside, the former FTX CEO could start withdrawing a lot of funds. This conclusion was made by cryptocurrency analysts who studied network data.

DeFi company BowTiedIguana reported that Sam Bankman-Freed was able to withdraw $684,000 in fiat money in the Seychelles, despite the fact that he was under house arrest.

In addition, cryptocurrency analysts reported that Bankman-Fried deliberately obfuscated the traces of the theft of the loss and very carefully obfuscated the chain that could lead to it. All transfers made with his wallet could use different blockchains and cross-chains.

If their findings turn out to be true, then the former FTX CEO could be charged on several more counts. By law, he is not allowed to spend more than $1,000 unless he receives a court order to do so.

Analysts at BowTiedIguana were able to determine that all Ethereum tokens were transferred from the public address “0xD5758” to the private wallet “0x7386d”. The company noted that the owner of the address was the head of SushiSwap, one of the most famous sites in the decentralized finance sector. Despite this, experts suggest that at the moment the wallet is under the control of Sam Bankman-Freed.
