New details of Intel Extreme Masters Sydney

The organizers of IEM Sydney announced new details of the tournaments. Now, the first pairs of the group stage and the schedule is known. 8 teams will participate in IEM Sydney. The group stage will take place on May 3 – 4, and it will be played according to the rules of the Swiss system. After a short break, the participants that moved to the next stage would play in play-off series with Single Elimination bracket for 4 teams. The final stage of the event will take place on May 6 – 7. The prize pool for Intel Extreme Masters XII — Sydney is $200,000. The information about prize pool distribution has not been revealed yet. LAN-final will take place in the biggest Australian city, Sydney in Qudos Arena.
