Liquid to join ESL One New York

ESL One New York managers continue to send direct invitations to the event. The third invitation goes to Team Liquid.

Therefore, American roster joins the list of event participants, which previously included only G2 and SK Gaming.

Fans of professional CS:GO arena remember Liquid for their performance on the last Major-event − ESL One Cologne 2016. Team Liquid became one of the grand finalists, after series of winnings against EnVyUs, mousesports, Natus Vincere and fnatic. However, in the final match they lost against SK team.

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev will not join Team Liquid this time. ECS S1 and ESL One Cologne 2016 became the last events for Ukrainian players as a member of Liquid. Now he is looking for a new roster. Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, who has already signed a contract with the organization, takes his place in Liquid roster.

ESL One New York takes place from 1 to 2 October 2016. Barclays Center hosts the event. Prize pool is 250,000 USD. ESL sells tickets for the event. 5 more participants to be announced soon.
