DreamHack Winner 2016 qualifiers announced

DreamHack organizers shared details of the up-coming tournament. DreamHack is scheduled on November 24-27. They also announced the format of open and closed qualifiers.

About 512 teams will join qualifiers, and the best 8 teams will pass to the closed (regional) qualifiers. For these qualifiers, DreamHack want to invite 8 additional teams from European region. It means that 16 teams will compete for passing to the main stage of the event. Regions qualifiers will be played in a single elimination bo3 format.

8 teams will join DreamHack Winner 2016. 6 of them will receive direct invitation, and two mode teams will be determined through the online qualifiers. Event prize pool is $100,000.

EU Minor: schedule and teams announced

PGL announced becoming an organizer of the upcoming European Minor-event. Previously, the information that PGL will organizers Asian Minor appeared.

EU Minor is scheduled on November 3-4. PGL studio (Bucharest, Romania) will host the event. 8 teams will participate in the event, and two of them are already known.

The organizers invited Fnatic and Heroic, and 6 more participants will be determined at the open qualifiers scheduled on October 18.

Two winners of this Minor will get invitations to the main participation of ELEAGUE Major-tour and share the prize pool of $50,000.
