Ця стаття доступна наступними мовами

Renowned CS:GO veteran Timo "Spiidi" Richter has officially declared the end of his competitive gaming journey after an illustrious decade-long career that saw him grace prominent Big Events and Major stages worldwide.

Throughout the early stages of his career, the 28-year-old found himself navigating the competitive landscapes with PENTA and MOUZ, two powerhouse teams in Germany during his tenure from 2014 to 2017. Spiidi played a pivotal role in MOUZ's transition to an international team during its formative years.

Among the highlights of Spiidi's career are two Major quarter-final appearances at DreamHack Winter 2014 and ESL One Katowice 2015 with PENTA, along with memorable semi-final runs at ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals and ELEAGUE Season 1 with MOUZ.

One of the most controversial chapters in Spiidi's career was his move from PENTA to MOUZ alongside Johannes "nex" Maget and Denis "denis" Howell. This transition left an enduring mark, symbolized by an iconic AK-47 | Jungle Spray, humorously renamed "Traitors," featuring Spiidi's sticker alongside denis, nex, and the MOUZ logo.

After experiencing Major playoffs success with PENTA, Spiidi faced challenges with MOUZ at Valve-backed events, notably finishing at the bottom during ESL One Cologne 2015. Despite not always being tournament favorites, Spiidi and his MOUZ teammates consistently delivered deep runs in various events.

In 2018, Spiidi embarked on a new journey with Sprout, later joining ALTERNATE aTTaX. Although he couldn't reclaim his former glory, Spiidi concluded his career on a high note at the local level, securing victory at ESL Meisterschaft with ALTERNATE aTTaX.

The decision to retire had been lingering inSpiidi's mind since April, shortly after joining aTTaX in January. In his farewell letter, Spiidi reflected, "I lost my 'fire' as a player. I didn't enjoy the officials anymore like I used to, and I didn't enjoy the grind to get 'to the top' anymore."
