A Twitter user by the name of Crude has announced a significant wave of bans for cheaters in CS 2. Now, players are instantly kicked out of the game, and they receive a notification on their desktop about a long-term ban.

An enigmatic informant with the username Aquarius claims that one of the well-known cheats was discovered in Counter-Strike 2. According to him, the developers have taken measures to block cheat functions related to the Steam marketplace. Additionally, Valve is imposing penalties on players who team up with cheaters.

The VAC Live system is responsible for the bans in CS 2. Among its features is the ability to detect cheaters even before a match begins. If a suspicious player is identified during gameplay, the technology cancels the match and nullifies its results.

Counter-Strike 2 was released on September 27, 2023, and employs a freemium model. Players have the option to purchase a prime status, which enhances the shooter's functionality and provides additional bonuses.
