Countdown to Greatness: HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year Unveiling – Who Will Claim the Title of 2023's Best Performer?

In accordance with the customary end-of-year tradition, HLTV is set to embark on its annual Top 20 Players of the Year countdown. This ranking showcases the 20 most outstanding players, starting from the 20th position and gradually counting down each day until the pinnacle performer of the year is revealed.

While the countdown typically commences on January 1, this year will see a deviation from the norm. The third edition of the HLTV Award Show is scheduled to take place on January 13 in Belgrade, Serbia, prompting the countdown to commence a few days earlier.

To culminate at the Award Show with the unveiling of the final three players, one player will be disclosed every day at 21:00, commencing on December 27 and concluding on January 12, the eve of the award ceremony. At the ceremony, alongside other individual and team accolades, the top three players of 2023 will be disclosed, ultimately leading to the crowning of the Player of the Year.

For the first time, the Award Show will incorporate community awards, recognizing the Event of the Year, Streamer of the Year, Creator of the Year, and Talent of the Year.
