At the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, players as young as 14 have been allowed to participate

The organizers of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for CS 2 have revised the age requirements, as reflected in the official tournament rules.

Now, players who are 14 years old are eligible to participate in the tournament qualifiers. In previous majors and major CS 2 tournaments, the minimum age was set at 16 years. The organizers did not clarify why this decision was made.

The RMR qualifiers for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place in several stages from January 8th to 21st in an online format. Participants will compete for slots in LAN events held in three countries: Romania, Mexico, and China.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is scheduled to run from March 17th to 31st in Denmark. The world's best teams will compete for a prize pool of $1.25 million in this tournament. It will mark the first CS 2 major in history.
