ESL and BLAST, the tournament operators, have expressed their opinions regarding Valve's new rules concerning the organization of Counter-Strike competitions. Both companies have agreed to adjust their approach to forming the list of championship participants.

Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of ESL FACEIT Group, tweeted that tournament operators are actively working on changing the format of their major competitions. He also announced plans to expand the revenue distribution model for tournaments, allowing all teams to share in the proceeds.
