Shakezullah joined the Evil Geniuses coaching staff

North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has announced that it has strengthened its CS:GO core team coaching staff by signing Shakezullah as an assistant head coach. In the new role, the 25-year-old American will work alongside experienced Vorborg and maLeK. The debut of the former captain of Bad News Bears for "Evil Geniuses" will take place tomorrow, January 19, as part of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023.

Shakezullah gained fame thanks to his performances for the Triumph and Bad News Bears teams, with whom he managed to win ESEA Season 33: Premier Division - North America Finals and Fragadelphia 15, as well as reach the finals of Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: North America. In addition, last year the 25-year-old American took part in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR.

However, in the past, Shakezullah managed to try on the role of a coach, leading the Ben's Anime Team and Chaos EC. And yet he did not manage to achieve great success, as a result of which the American decided to return to the server as a player.

This is not the first change in the composition of the North American club in the off-season, as earlier the Evil Geniuses said goodbye to CeRq and promoted wiz to the starting clip of the main team.

Tomorrow, January 19, the updated Evil Geniuses coaching staff will start performing at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023. Here, the North American team got into the same group along with Heroic, Astralis and Team Vitality. Then the team will go to Poland, where they will perform at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
