NAVI, Cloud9 and FaZe Clan players will take part in the HLTV Award Show 2022

The HLTV portal has published new details of the upcoming HLTV Award Show 2022 event. The ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, January 14, at the Space Arena in Stockholm, will be attended by over 300 well-known esports players and industry representatives. Among the bottom will be the players and coaches of many famous teams, including NaVi, Cloud9 and FaZe Clan.

The ceremony, which will vaguely resemble the presentation of the Golden Ball award, is designed to sum up the results of the past season. In particular, the organizers will present the top three players of 2022. Everyone absolutely knows that s1mple, sh1ro, ZywOo and NiKo will compete for the title of the strongest player. However, the latter will not attend the event, which may indirectly push the idea of their withdrawal from the race.

The event will award the best player of the year 2022, the best team and the main event of the year, the best women's team of the year and the best women's player of the year. In addition, the winners will be presented with awards that have been determined by a jury based on pre-allocated roles.

Of the confirmed HLTV Award Show 2022 participants, the following esportsmen and coaches will attend: karrigan⁠, s1mple, B1ad3⁠, Perfecto, ⁠Lk-⁠, ⁠aMi, w0nderful⁠, ⁠Patsi⁠, sh1ro, ⁠Ax1Le, ⁠GooseBreeder⁠, ⁠BiBiAhn⁠. ⁠Devilwalk⁠, olofmeister, Snax, pashaBiceps⁠, NEO⁠, ⁠Vladyslava_Z, Heccu⁠, ⁠HenryG⁠, ⁠Dinko, hawka, ⁠DAVEY, ⁠natu⁠, vENdetta, ⁠Maikelele, draken⁠, Golden, inhobiinho⁠, CRUC1AL⁠, ⁠NeiL_M, ⁠djL and THREAT⁠.

Earlier, the HLTV portal presented the first nominees for the awards as part of its HLTV Award Show 2022 ceremony. The editors singled out seven nominations: sniper of the year, captain of the year, entry fragger of the year, lurker of the year, defensive player of the year, coach of the year and the best squad of the year. With the exception of the last one, all contenders for the title of player of the year in the respective categories were announced.
