casle will remain the head coach of Astralis

The Danish esports organization Astralis has approved casle as the head coach of the CS:GO roster. The 36-year-old Danish specialist will continue to lead the team on a regular basis next season. Recall that casle took over the reins of the roster in October.

When the decision was made to further invest in the team and make a significant revamp of the Counter-Strike roster, it was natural to turn to Peter, who, in addition to excellent coaching talent, is extremely strong in building the team's structure. We knew this when we first brought him on as a very talented coach for Astralis Talent and it was confirmed by his work where he took the youth to a high level significantly in a short time with several titles.

He made a significant contribution to the formation of the new organization and established himself as a very experienced coach who earned the full confidence of the players.

Several coaches have applied for this role, but Peter's qualities cannot be neglected, so the choice in the end was an easy one. Peter has the values we have always looked for in Astralis and we are delighted that he has risen to the challenge of becoming a vital part of our new organization around the team.

casle first joined the Astralis structure in the summer to lead Astralis Talent. However, already in October, the 26-year-old specialist was appointed interim coach of the main team. In two months, he managed to take third place at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, and also reach the final at CCT Central Europe Series #4.

With this decision, the organization dispelled all the rumors that connected Astralis with HUNDEN, the former Heroic coach. At the very least, the infamous specialist will not be directly working with the team in the near future. Note that the day before, the HLTV portal published information according to which the club is going to sign a contract with Buzz, a MASONIC player.

Along with the promotion of casle, the organization announced the parting with the LOMME analyst, who has been working with the main team since the end of 2021.
