s1mple is ESL's CS:GO Player of the Decade

s1mple, the sniper of the NaVi team, became the best CS:GO player of the decade according to ESL. In the voting, where professional players took part, the 25-year-old Ukrainian esportsman was ahead of dev1ce - once the main rival on the scene. The award ceremony took place as part of preparations for the IEM Rio Major 2022 semi-finals.

s1mple has been playing for the NAVI team for more than six years. Together with the Born to Win, he managed to win many major tournaments, including Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Cologne, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2021. At the same time, Kostylev recently extended his contract with the organization.

Probably, dev1ce's one-year vacation had a big impact on the hands in the final ranking. Recall that the Dane recently returned to Astralis, but still will not appear on stage until the next season.
