According to the Jaxon portal, the incident in Malta was not the first on k0nfig's account - the Danish esportsman had previously fought with an analyst during IEM Cologne 2022. Reportedly, the organization decided to part with its player not because of a single incident that happened recently in Malta. Back in the summer, k0nfig was noted for his aggressive behavior, having a fight with one of the IEM Cologne 2022 analysts.

Jaxon representatives spoke to several informants who spoke about what happened in Cologne. One of the hosts of the event, who wished not to reveal his name, said that "he had never personally encountered such a thing."

After the above incident, I became aware that this behavior had occurred before. I can't speak for his mindset during this particular incident, but I believe the alcohol contributed to his decision to escalate our interaction unnecessarily to the point of conflict where I was forced to defend myself.

As part of IEM Cologne 2022, k0nfig reportedly had a conflict with an unnamed analyst who worked at the championship coverage studio. Immediately after the start of the incident, the hotel staff called the organizers of the championship and the police. However, they managed to close the grudges the next day.

k0nfig and I spoke the next day and discussed the issues behind closed doors. I'm happy to report that we won't have any problems with fights in the future.

Jaxon also claims that the Dane behaved aggressively against the employees of the hotel where the teams lived. Probably, the Astralis organization thought about continuing cooperation with k0nfig even then, but the latest conflict in Malta resolved the situation in favor of parting with the player.

Astralis announced last week that they were parting ways with k0nfig. During the eleven months spent at the club, the 25-year-old Dane helped the team get into the TOP-3 at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, Roobet Cup 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.

A little later, the cybersportsman officially confirmed the fight in a nightclub in Malta. The 25-year-old Dane spoke about the incident on his personal Twitter page.
