Brehze on the new composition of Evil Geniuses: "Now we have nothing to lose"

Brehze, an Evil Geniuses player, shared his thoughts on the team's new roster. During a conversation with a journalist, the 24-year-old American spoke about the changes in the team, as well as the feelings with which "Evil Geniuses" entered the new season.

It's just a new Evil Geniuses roster, where we have a new captain from the CIS and a young player. To be honest, everything feels new. I think that this team has less experience in a good way, but now we have nothing to lose. The last two years have been pretty tough for us, so this is just the beginning.

We don't care how much time has passed since we beat the European team. We are looking at the present. We have a new squad, which I have high hopes for. We will continue to work hard, train hard and soon we will achieve this victory.

Recall that the Evil Geniuses team completed their performances at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. The North American team suffered two defeats in the group stage, after which they lost to Ninjas in Pajamas with a score of 1:2 and left the championship.

Now Evil Geniuses is getting ready to return to North America to take part in the open qualifiers for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for the Americas. Then the team will go to Malta, where they will take part in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 takes place from 19 to 28 August in Copenhagen. As part of the championship, twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America are competing for a total prize pool of $177,498, rating points, and six tickets to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
