Lucky leaves HEET starting roster

The Belgian esports organization HEET has announced changes to the starting lineup for the CS:GO discipline, transferring Lucky to the bench. Recall that the 24-year-old French player has been playing for the team since the formation of the first team under the Double Poney tag. If rumors are to be believed, HEET's newcomer will be JACKZ, who is about to leave the G2 Esports team.

After evaluating the past season, the team's management decided to remove Lucky from our CS:GO starting roster, and now he is free to choose his options. We would like to thank Lucky for an unforgettable 8 months with HEET, as well as for his dedication and contribution to winning Elisa Invitational Spring 2022 and qualifying for ESL Pro League Season 16. We have no doubt that he will continue to succeed in any journey that he will undertake next time and look forward to what he will do next. In the coming days, the 5th member of our CS:GO team for the upcoming season will be announced.

Lucky became part of the Double Poney team, which was later signed by HEET, early last year. In a season and a half, the 24-year-old French player helped the team win Malta Vibes Knockout Series #5, ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe and Elisa Invitational Spring 2022, as well as get into the TOP-3 at European Development Championship Season 4, Elisa Invitational Winter 2021 and ESL Championnat National Spring 2022.

Of course, this was a big and difficult step, because with this change we were afraid to affect the team spirit that the guys had been building for several months. Leaving Lucky is a really difficult decision, but I think it needs to be made now. He has shown good progress and development as a player, but for the direction and pace we are aiming for, we need a change. We are very grateful to Lucky for bringing the team to the level it is today — Jasur Avizov, Executive Director of HEET.

The next championship for the French team will be ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe, which starts next week. At the same time, HEET will begin preparations for the start of open qualifiers for the European RMR tournament, and then to the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.
