STYKO is the new Apeks captain

The Norwegian esports organization Apeks has announced that STYKO has been given the powers of a captain. The 26-year-old Slovak player will take over the reins of the team following the departure of AcilioN in the middle of last month. The organization also promised to present the final composition in the coming days.

We are happy to announce our fifth.... I mean, our new IGL! STYKO will lead our CS:GO team.

STYKO joined the Apeks at the beginning of the current season. In seven months, the 26-year-old Slovak player helped the team win the Tipsport Cup Bratislava 2022, as well as get into the top three at the end of Pinnacle Winter Series #1 and Fantasyexpo EU Champions: Spring 2022.

It is noteworthy that this is the first full-fledged experience for STYKO as a captain. Despite his impressive track record (HellRaisers, MOUZ, GODSENT and FunPlus Phoenix), the Slovak has never been responsible for the team's tactical movements on the server.

Recall that recently the Norwegian organization introduced kuben as its new head coach. Before that, the Polish specialist worked with the MAD Lions squad. In addition, the club officially introduced the fourth member of the main team, which was jL, a former MAD Lions player.

The next championship for Apeks will be ESEA Season 42: Advanced Division - Europe, which started the day before, on August 8th. In addition, the team will begin preparations for the qualifications for the European RMR tournament, which will begin next week.
