maNkz became the new captain of ECSTATIC

The Danish eSports organization ECSTATIC has announced the assignment of captaincy to its player maNkz. The 24-year-old Danish player will take over the reins of the teams after the departure of the fearless leader birdfromsky.

We are happy to announce that Markus "maNkz" Kjeldsen will take on the role of our captain! The 24-year-old Dane is looking forward to a more strategic role, as well as leading and developing the team and its players.

maNkz has been playing for the team since May last year. During this time, the 24-year-old Danish player helped the team win Pinnacle Fall Series #3, as well as get into the top three according to the results of Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 4, Malta Vibes Knockout Series #4, Pinnacle Winter Series #3, Thunderpick Bitcoin Series 2022, Gamebox Invitational 2022 and Pinnacle Cup IV.

I am happy that I was given the opportunity to take on the role of captain again. I knew that I wanted to return to this at some point in my career, and now was the perfect time for this, - said the new captain of the Danish club.

Note that earlier in his career, maNkz was already a captain. As a Copenhagen Flames player, the Dane managed the team for a while, but soon moved to ECSTATIC, where birdfromsky ran everything.

Last week, the esports organization ECSTATIC made changes to its roster, parting ways with birdfromsky and returning XELLOW. Rumor has it that the club intends to return to an all-Danish lineup by signing Cabbi, Quuenix and Kraghen.

The next championship for the team will be ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe. At the same time, the team will be involved in the qualifiers for the European RMR tournament.
