rigoN may join G2 Esports roster
According to Lajmi.net, the European esports organization G2 Esports intends to strengthen its CS:GO roster by signing a contract with rigoN. This transfer is indicated by the Kosovar portal, citing sources familiar with the situation.
It seems that the transfer epics around G2 Esports are only gaining momentum. Last week, the organization allowed Aleksib to look for options to continue his career, and later, a few days later, the esports club began to prepare for parting with JACKZ.

The first candidate to strengthen the composition of the European giant is rigoN, who has established himself as a strong shooter. The 22-year-old Swiss esportsman spent the last year with BLINK/Bad News Eagles, with whom he managed to win several tournaments in the ESEA Cash Cup: Europe and TWR Eastern European Masters: Spring 2022 series, and also made it to the top three at Gjirafa50 Masters League Season 2, ESEA Season 38: Premier Division - Europe and Elisa Invitational Spring 2022, among others.
However, the player gained the greatest fame after his performance at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where he, together with the team, managed to break into the Legends stage.
In our recent article, we analyzed the reasons for the failure of G2 Esports and tried to understand what options the European organization has.
Indirectly, rumors about rigoN's move to G2 Esports are reported by other sources, including popular streamers and esports figures familiar with the situation. If the transfer takes place, the team will again consist mostly of Yugoslavians, since rigoN himself has Kosovar roots.
The next championship for the European team will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, which will be held from August 19 to 28. Then the team will start its journey within the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.
Currently, the G2 Esports CS:GO roster is as follows:
- JACKZ
- huNter-
- NiKo
- m0NESY
- XTQZZZ (coach)
- Aleksib (inactive)
