AdreN returns to AVANGAR to develop business and CS:GO roster

Kazakhstani esports organization AVANGAR announced the return of AdreN as a member of the supervisory board of the CS:GO division. It is reported that, being a member of the supervisory board, AdreN will develop future AVANGAR business units, and will also become a mentor for the Counter-Strike squad.

Dauren and I have known each other for a long time - he went through the Major together with us, and like no one else knows what ideas and values AVANGAR brings. He has the proper qualities as an entrepreneur and strategist, and I am sure that together with him we will be able to successfully revive the old ones, as well as launch new projects for the development of e -sports in Kazakhstan, - comments of the CEO of AVANGAR.

AdreN made a name for himself as part of Gambit Esports, together with whom he became the winner of DreamHack Open Winter 2016, DreamHack Open Austin 2017 and PGL Major Kraków 2017. In the summer of 2019, the 32-year-old Kazakh player joined AVANGAR, where he led the team to victory in six months at BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019, as well as getting into the grand final of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.

Nevertheless, the last year and a half can hardly be called successful in AdreN's career, who failed to gain a foothold in Virtus.pro, and after that did not help K23 climb the TIER-1 scene. As a result, at the end of last year, Dauren left the stage, starting to search for his new opportunities.
