Stewie2k and RUSH may leave Evil Geniuses
According to BLIX.gg, North American esports organization Evil Geniuses is preparing to make changes to its first CS:GO roster, considering parting ways with Stewie2k and RUSH. The main signing candidates are neaLaN and HooXi, as well as valde, who was already of interest to the club last season.
Stewie2k and RUSH joined Evil Geniuses in January this year, forming a new line-up. However, in half a year, the esportsmen did not help the team reach the previous level, taking the last place at ESL Pro League Season 15 and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022, and also flying past PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

At the same time, there is a lot of unnecessary talk and rumors around Stewie2k. First of all, as it became known from an interview with Evy, the former assistant head coach of the team, the 24-year-old American was the main reason why maLeK left Evil Geniuses. In addition, after that, news appeared about the possible departure of Stewie2k to the VALORANT discipline, which was reinforced by the conversations of the player himself on one of the streams.
Speaking of potential replacements, neaLaN and HooXi are being considered for the captain position. The 21-year-old Kazakh player has been playing for K23 for the past two years, having won European Development Championship Season 1, Funspark ULTI 2021: European Playoffs #2 and Pinnacle Winter Series #1 with the team.
In turn, HooXi has been put up for transfer by his former club as Copenhagen Flames announced a drastic reboot of their division.
As a replacement for RUSH, valde is called, who left the OG roster a few months ago. At the same time, the Dane was matched with Astralis, but, apparently, a struggle could unfold for the 27-year-old player.
The nearest championship for the North American team is BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, which will start on August 19. At the same time, Evil Geniuses has enough problems outside of the main clip, as the organization plans to build a flexible squad of fifteen players by next season.
