Stewie2K may move to VALORANT
According to Jaxon, Stewie2K is seriously considering moving into the VALORANT discipline. A leaked conversation between Stewie2K and Wardell has fueled speculation about the former's possible move into a tactical shooter from Riot Games. The messages came out during a broadcast from Wardell and seem to show Stewie2K discussing their options in VALORANT.
Stewie2K's move to VALORANT has been a hot topic for months. The 24-year-old American eSportsman said late last year that he could try his hand at a new discipline and has been seen playing VALORANT alongside tarik and JasonR lately.

The leaked conversation with Wardell has now added fuel to the fire. Stewie2k and Wardell seem to be discussing a hypothetical transition from Stewie2K to VALORANT. However, the Canadian recommends that the current Evil Geniuses player immediately become a streamer. He has several conflicting opinions about the professional scene and calls other people who play the game "retarded".
WARDELL: "You will go crazy. I think it would be nice to be a streamer. I think if you tried to be a pro player you would need a strong team. Since everyone is idiots here. I don't think you even need skill in this game, you just need to be able to think."
Stewie2K: "Yeah, I feel the same way about the VALORANT scene. Since the game doesn't require skill, it's hard to be stable."
WARDELL: "It's not true. People don't play well. So it looks like there's no stability. I swear OpTic is the only team that plays VALORANT like it's CS."
Recall that Stewie2K appeared on the scene back in 2015. During this time, the 24-year-old American esportsman became the winner of ESL Pro League Season 4 - Finals, ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019 and Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Chicago.
However, the last six months in Stewie2K's career can hardly be called successful, since the captain of Evil Geniuses failed to become the backbone of his team, getting involved in a conflict with maLeK along the way, effectively expelling the coach from the North American club.
At the same time, the prospects for the "first" composition of Evil Geniuses are vague, which, as it seems, will soon go to the bottom. According to the Dust2 portal, Brehze and CeRq may leave the Evil Geniuses organization in September of this year. Both esportsmen have not yet re-signed contracts with the club, and are unlikely to continue cooperation with the North American organization.
The Evil Geniuses CS:GO roster is currently as follows:
- Brehze.
- CeRq.
- Stewie2K.
- automatic.
- RUSH.
- ben1337.
- PwnAlone.
- djay.
- Johnji.
- viz.
- walco.

- chop.
- CLASIA.
- Axed (coach).
- Muenster (coach).
