Official: mir joins Entropiq

The Czech esports organization Entropiq has announced changes to its first CS:GO team by signing a contract with mir. The 26-year-old Russian esportsman is called to replace Lack1, who has been transferred to the bench.

Nikolai is undoubtedly an excellent CS:GO player, whom we have been following for a long time. We believe that he is the right player to give our team the extra firepower we need and that mir will be the factor that will help us take this step towards titles in many tournaments.

mir is rightfully considered one of the strongest riflers in the CIS scene. Having made a name for himself back in the days of playing for Vega Squadron and sensational victories in the Major as part of the Russian club, the 26-year-old player has spent the last two years in Team Spirit. In particular, together with the mir team, he became the winner of Nine to Five #3, DreamHack Open January 2021: Europe and Pinnacle Cup II, and also made it to the top three at Champions Cup Finals and Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship.

However, at the end of last year, the esportsman left Team Spirit, having spent the last six months inactive.

In turn, Lack1 has been a part of Entropiq since last May, when the Czech organization signed the EPG Family. Over the course of a year, the 22-year-old Kazakh player helped the team win Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 2, European Development Championship Season 4 and Pinnacle Fall Series #2, and also stop one step away from reaching the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

However, weak results at the beginning of the new season prompted the club to look for options to strengthen their squad, turning their attention to mir.

The debut of the newcomer will take place today, June 8th. The Russian team will start its journey within REPUBLEAGUE Season 3, meeting with the K23 team. Next, Entropiq will play in the playoffs of ESL Challenger League Season 41: Europe, as well as take part in the Roobet Cup 2022.
