tabseN, who is the captain of BIG, spoke about the influence of the head coach on the success of the team at IEM Dallas 2022. In an interview for the BLIX portal, the German esportsman commented on BIG's successful performance in the group stage of the championship.

I believe that our success at IEM Dallas 2022 is the merit of our coach. gob b teaches us a lot and he is able to take the team to the next level. I think he's the main reason we can play like this. He has an individual approach to each player, which helps to bring out our best qualities.

Our communication within this squad, as well as the change of coach, has certainly played a huge role in creating such a team chemistry in which we get along with each other. It's really very nice to be in such a team, to feel the passion and motivation. gob b lights a fire in us, and it's amazing to be around these people who want to achieve the same as me.

gob b took over BIG in May after returning from VALORANT. Together with the team, the German specialist participated in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, finishing 12th-14th.

Recall that the day before, the BIG team lost in the semifinals to Cloud9 with a score of 1:2 and left IEM Dallas 2022.

IEM Dallas 2022 runs from May 30 to June 5 in Dallas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Sixteen teams from Europe, Oceania, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $250,000, as well as ranking points in the EPT and BLAST Premier tables.

• 9th-12th place: Astralis, MOUZ, MIBR and Ninjas in Pajamas — $5,000 + 100 EPT points.
• 13th-16th place: Movistar Riders, Encore Esports Club, Imperial Esports and Complexity Gaming — $4,000.
