Xaoc from NaVi: "When s1mple made a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (1,500,000 UAH in size), he asked me if I should even post this"
Continuing to cover the interview with Aleksey 'xaoc' Kucherov, NaVi 's COO, one cannot fail to mention such a player as s1mple.
Alexey spoke about the media side of Kostylev. The NAVI management often communicates with Alexander about what is worth saying in public and what is not. In addition, according to Kucherov, s1mple did not know whether to show everyone how generously he donated for the benefit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
Безкоштовні дорогоцінні камені, а також щоденні, щотижневі та щомісячні бонуси!
We talk to him all the time about it. If specifically about Alexander, then he has a very large audience and people expect a lot from him. They get disappointed if it doesn't live up to their expectations. When s1mple donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine[s1mple donated 1,500,000 UAH to the Ukrainian Armed Forces Fund - ed. ed.], then he asked me whether it was necessary to post this at all, and I told him “Yes, Sasha, it is necessary. You need to set an example for people, maybe it will inspire someone to do the same. This will be useful."
We prepared a speech for him in case NAVI wins. Many asked why he did not say anything about the war when he went on stage, but we prepared this only in case of victory, so that it would be as hype as possible, but this unfortunately did not happen.
In light of recent events, Xaoc has repeatedly received questions about the production of content in the Ukrainian language. He explained why NAVI will not remove Russian-language interviews, blogs and other materials:
Many say that the Russians attacked because our Russian language is being infringed upon. In general, I don’t want to correspond to what they say, so as not to support such propaganda. As for my house, I would like my daughter to speak Ukrainian, for example. This is how we teach her. If we talk about NAVI and business, then we have a different audience. It consists of various Russian-speaking fans who are not to blame for what is happening. We continue to make content in Russian, but we will make Ukrainian content only for those compositions in which only Ukrainians will be collected. So far, it is not clear whether this will happen at all, but of course there is a desire to generate Ukrainian-language content. This directly depends on the compositions that we will collect. If the roster is made up of CIS players from the Baltic States, Russia, Ukraine, then they will obviously communicate in Russian and there is no point in making such content. But if there are purely Ukrainian squads, then there will be such content. We have made a new site where we make content in Ukrainian and duplicate all news content in Ukrainian.
