Players from Russia left the youth rosters of NAVI
The Ukrainian esports organization NAVI has announced changes to its youth rosters NaVi Junior and NAVI Youth, refusing the services of players from Russia. Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili, coach and project manager, spoke about the reasons for the changes and the future of the squads:
The NAVI eSports Academy was founded over 2.5 years ago. We have always been a flagship and an example for other organizations. Our players participate in international competitions of various levels, achieve victories, and we are proud of each of them. Our doors have always been open to talented young players from our region, regardless of their nationality or religion. For me, only playing and human qualities have always been important. It has always been believed that esports is outside of politics - yes, it is, but esports cannot be outside of war.
On February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine: it kills our children, women, bombs our cities. We cannot stay away. In this regard, it was decided to change the approach to the formation of the composition of our academy. Each player was offered a relocation to another country in order to continue playing for NAVI. Due to the young age of our academics, this is a big problem, and we will not force anyone to make a decision by force.
Безкоштовні дорогоцінні камені, а також щоденні, щотижневі та щомісячні бонуси!
Now we will focus on working with Ukrainian players and we will go our own way, as it was before. In the near future we will complete all the compositions of the academy.
In addition, kensizor joined the NAVI Youth roster, while fear returned to the NAVI Junior roster as a captain.
From now on, the composition of NAVI Youth is as follows:
- dem0N.
- frost1k.
- kensizor.
From now on, the composition of NAVI Junior is as follows:
- fear.
- headtr1ck.
- nipl.
- UNBR0KEN.
