BIT May Lead MIBR After Apoka Leaves

According to the ge.globo portal, Apoka intends to leave the coaching post at MIBR. The 36-year-old Brazilian specialist is expected to be replaced by BIT, which is currently part of 9z.

Apoka has been leading MIBR since January 2021. During the season, the specialist helped the team win ESEA Season 39: Advanced Division - North America, as well as take second place in Battle of Betway # 2 and CBCS Finals 2021. Nevertheless, the 36-year-old Brazilian intends to retire and pursue a streaming career... The main reason for this decision is the ban on participation in championships sponsored by Valve. As a reminder, Apoka got into a coaching scandal in the fall of 2020 after being banned for 5.4 months.

In turn, BIT has spent the last two seasons with 9z. As a captain, the 31-year-old Brazilian esportsman helped the team win WESG 2021 Latin America: LatAM South, Alpha Pro League 2021, FiReLEAGUE 2021 and BLAST Rising LATAM 2021. Note that BIT has already represented MIBR colors in CS 1.6

It is reported that Apoka has already made a decision to resign. The 36-year-old Brazilian specialist will not fly with the team to Europe to participate in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, which will be held from January 28 to February 6.
