Nerd Street Gamers Announced Winter Championships Series

Tournament operator Nerd Street Gamers hosted the Winter Championships series. As part of the series, the organizer will host nine LAN tournaments and six online tournaments that will form the list of participants in Fragadelphia 16.

At the same time, Nerd Street Gamers unveiled the details of their Winter Championships in North America, the existence of which first became known in September during Fragadelphia 15.

Weekly online tournaments, six regional and three major championships, each offering a prize pool along with leaderboard points for the Fragadelphia 16 qualifier from March 4th to 6th. The top four teams on the leaderboard will receive travel support and accommodations for the event ahead of the tournament.

Unlike the usual Fragadelphia formula, the main championship will no longer offer open entry, and instead the top sixteen teams on the leaderboard will directly qualify for the tournament. However, the organizers will be holding a 32-team qualifying tournament on March 3 and offering eight seats at Fragadelphia 16.

Eight teams from the Last Chance Qualifier will face the 9-16th ranked teams on the March 4th Leaderboard, of which the top eight will come forward to compete with the 1st-8th ranked teams on the March 5th Leaderboard....

The three major tournaments leading Fragadelphia 16 will offer the highest leaderboard points and a $ 10,000 prize pool for up to 32 teams. Online tournaments and regional LAN championships will offer prize pools of $ 2,000 and $ 2,500, respectively.
