Crimsix announces his retirement from CDL

Crimsix has announced his retirement from the Call of Duty League. According to the 29-year-old American, such a decision is associated with general fatigue and the existing gap between generations.

I can honestly say that all my friends don't play anymore. For the past five years, I have struggled with just being able to communicate, and ultimately I think that was my downfall and I don't want to deal with it anymore. I was at the point where if I get an offer, I could play, but if I don't, I'll breathe a sigh of relief.

The level of sacrifice it takes to become a professional player is not discussed enough. Deep down I hope I was the best Call of Duty player to ever compete, but right now I'm looking at it like, "What the hell did I do."

Crimsix appeared on the scene back in 2012. Over the ten years of his career, the 29-year-old American has changed several clubs, including compLexity Gaming, Evil Geniuses, Dallas Empire and New York Subliners.

Playing at a professional level, Crimsix became the winner of the Call of Duty Championship 2014, CWL Championship 2017, CWL Las Vegas Open 2019, Call of Duty League - 2020 Playoffs and Call of Duty League 2022: Pro-Am Classic, and also got into the top three in results of CWL Pro League Stage 1 Playoffs 2018, Call of Duty League 2021: Stage 4 Major and Call of Duty League 2021: Playoffs.

In the future, Crimsix intends to focus its efforts on streaming activities as well as content creation. The 29-year-old American will share specific plans for the future in the near future.
